Planning: Feedback & Graphs - Ms Begum

Feedback & Graphs

 - This graph shows that I have asked the right audience that I am aiming towards, as they all like R&B music, with knowing this I would know that the next questions will be relevant to what my audience likes.

- With this graph knowing the age that the audience would tend to like the male artist to be around the age of 20-25. With me now knowing this it allows me to make sure I know who I can use in my music video to meet the audience's expectations of the video.

- With this question it allows me to understand what type of music video the audience would like to see from this song, with now knowing that they like narrative and performance the most I think I would make a mix of both so there is a storyline to the video as well as a performance.

- With asking this question it allows me to gain an idea of what types of locations my audience would like to see and allow me to see if they are common conventions for a R&B music video to be in.

- I have asked this question to see how many locations people would like to see in the video, this is due to knowing if it would work with a narrative in the music video or if it became a performance video. But as they have mainly picked multiple locations I can do the narrative for the music video that I originally wanted to do.

- This graphs shows what the audience would like to see the person that is in the music video mainly wearing casual or lazy type of clothing. This is beneficial because it goes along the lines of the storyline I have planned for the music video.

- This graph shows the types of themes the audience has mainly picked to be in the R&B music video, with now knowing the three love, relationships and heartbreak are the main themes for the video they want to see. This allows me to know that the video I will make shows these themes.

- Having asked this question, it allowed me to know if the audience cares about the star image of the artist. This is because I would like to see if he would be a star performer or a pop star, but I found out that the star image is relevant to this artist of the song.

- This graph shows what the audience mainly find most entertaining from the music video, and the results show it is the genre itself so the music video doesn't really matter as long as it compliments the song and enhance the feel towards it.

- With this graph it asked if the star image of the artist should be shown, with knowing this I think it is important information as it tells me that the audience would like to see the star image within the music video, and what this does is show that there is some appeal to the music video already.

Conclusion:
- With all of the graphs that are shown above, they have been the results from a questionnaire with the participants being of different age groups, sexes and different occupations and ethnicity when filled out. With all this primary research into my audience I am able to have all the data I need to know what the audience would like to see in the music video, and what they can expect from it. With all this feedback I can see some of the ideas for the music video that would go alone side with what the audience likes and what supports the video to become a success.

  1. Good collection of results and graphs to illustrate your findings of the questionnaire.

    To improve;
    -be more specific to your choices, for example what location/s you will film in?
